The Union Civil Aviation Ministry has directed IndiGo Airlines to reduce 10% of its planned flight operations to stabilise its network and ensure compliance with safety and operational regulations. The decision follows large-scale flight cancellations and rising passenger complaints.

The IndiGo crisis is in its seventh day due to a major pilot shortage, fueled by stricter FDTL rules. Hundreds of flights are canceled, forcing IndiGo to issue ₹827 crore in refunds. The Civil Aviation Minister has warned the airline of strict consequences.

ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਜ਼ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਲਾਈਟ 'ਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦੀ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਲੈਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਫਲਾਈਟ ਦੀ ਐਮਰਜੈਂਸੀ ਲੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਵੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕਰਾਚੀ 'ਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਜਹਾਜ਼ 'ਚ 150 ਲੋਕ ਸਵਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ 'ਚ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, ਬਾਅਦ 'ਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਬਈ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
