Bar Association Chandigarh & Ambala: The Governing Body of the District Bar Association Ambala on Thursday held meeting under the Chairmanship of Sh. Dilbag Singh Danipur, Advocate (President District Bar Association Ambala) regarding forcibly snatch of mobile of their member Mr. Tajender Singh, Advocate and grabbed his color, tried to beat him up and forcibly kept him hostage in Police Chowki Patwi, Police Station Panjokhra, Ambala by ASI (Chowki Incharge) and his colleague. As per Chairman they had also tried to insult their member Mr. Tajender Singh, Advocate by using derogatory words. In protest against the misbehavior done by the above said police officials the District Bar Association, Ambala had unanimously decided to abstain from work on 07-07-2022 with a demand to take strict Legal action against the guilty police official by lodging FIR. But no action has been taken by the authorities against the above said guilty police official. So, the executive committee has decided to abstain from work again on 08.07.2022, if in case the concerned authority will not take any decision till 5.00 PM on 08.07.2022 then the protest will continue till fulfillment of their demand. Chandigarh Bar association and some Bar associations in Punjab have also joined to abstain work.
