Chandigarh, June 29 - Arvind Khanna, the former MLA and prominent leader of Punjab BJP, stated that there is an urgent need to take substantial steps to improve healthcare and education infrastructure in Punjab. He highlighted the long-standing challenges faced by dispensaries and health centers in rural areas due to inadequate staffing and essential facilities. He emphasized the government's responsibility to promptly address these issues. Khanna suggested that instead of opening more Aam Aadmi Clinics in line with Delhi's model, the government should prioritize upgrading existing dispensaries and health and wellness centers, without neglecting the previously established facilities. Health and education are fundamental sectors that require continuous development, and it is the primary responsibility of every state government to ensure their progress. However, Khanna believes that the aspirations of the people, which led them to choose him, are yet to be fully realized. He appealed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to work diligently and fulfill the promises made to the public, so that they do not feel remorseful for their decision. Khanna further emphasized the need for inclusive decision-making, where opposing viewpoints are considered, to make informed choices for the betterment of Punjab. By working together and offering suggestions, we can create a more prosperous Punjab and provide the people with improved facilities.
